What is the difference between size 7.0 EE and 7.0 D in inline skates sizes?

i am trying to order skates online and i see that there are EE sizes and D sizes, is EE like i.e. wide while D is suppose to be regular? please explain this to me! best answer will be rewarded!

What is the difference between size 7.0 EE and 7.0 D in inline skates sizes?
The letters are the width of the boot. It is based on the width across the ball of the foot based on a standard shape.

7 EE should be .4" wider than 7 D.

See www.boot.com/bsizcvt.htm for a discussion of the sizing system and standard charts.

However, there are shape issues that can cause particular boots to fit tighter or looser than the chart will list.

Out of curiosity, where are you finding inline skates listed with widths?
