Jackson Skates?

Are the jackson Classqies skate set good value?

Have you got any reviews on them?

Is the blade a good quality?

Thanks!

Jackson Skates?
Hiya again!!

Jackson skates are good skates and on the up side they are a reasonable price!!

But I do find (mind you i've been skating and competing for years now) that they arn't the most comfortable skates when they are new, they hurt and take more 'breaking in' than i've found with other skates.

The blades that usually come on Jackson Classiques are the Ultima Mark IV, chrome blade which are fairly high quality blades (attatched with screws so blades can be altered anyway if you want)

They are a really good skate for those who are working up through the skate levels and can aid technique... they do support you well while doing spins and jumps.

Note: If the skates are being used for pair skating/ice dancing check the length of the blade before purchase... different boot/blade combos are available on the jackson skates if i remember rightly...

blades used in pair skating/ice dancing are about an inch shorter in the rear than those used by skaters in other disciplines to accommodate the intricate footwork and close partnering in dance - make sure you don't get caught out if that's what you want them for

hope this helps you some,

speak to you soon no doubt (again) lol

keep skating

Reply:My friend has Jackson skates, but now she needs to get new ones because shes learning new jumps that require a better blade then the ones that those skates come with..... Those skates are good for just starting out with skating and learning all of the basics and then like one and two foot spins and a waltz, half flip and toe loop kind of jumps..... but once you get more into loops and half lutz's your going to need a better blade for those kinds of jumps...... But what you could do is because the boot is cheap, you can just buy the boots and then buy a nicer blade to put on them....

Best of luck!
