Figure Skates?

How do I know when I buy a Riedell figure skate if it is a : Blue Ribbon, Yellow Ribbon, Red Ribbon, etc... I have tried to look for it on the skate but can't seem to find those marks? I have someone that is trying to sell me a Riedell model #21. I don't know if it is a Blue Ribbon, Yellow Ribbon etc... Does anyone know? Thanks!

You can find the numbers on the riedell website, it says the model and then the number, For example I have yellow ribbon's model 110. Also on the inside of the ankle part of the boot mine says Stock 110.
Reply:well just buy skates and a ribbon
Reply:I answered your other question but couldn't go back and modify it after I'd submitted it so I'll answer this one, too. On your other question I said I'd never heard of Blue, Yellow, Red Ribbon, etc. That's true; I hadn't heard of them but that's because my rink doesn't carry these levels.

Are you planning to buy these boots in a skate shop? That would be the best place to go for information about boots. You want to get a boot that's suitable for your skater's level and foot type.
