Which ice skates should i buy?
we.. Try these webistes.

or www.skatesforless.com

Or you can go to google and type in " figure skates"/ That should bring you to good sites. YOU should get Rediell skates for beggingers if not doing really anything in your skates beside skating(for right now). When you do want to do more stuff in your skates you can buy new skates for your level. Try this.

see if this helps.
Reply:You should get Jackson skates. Riedells have no ankle support. I am in FS 4 and I use Jackson Competitors.
Reply:I would suggest going with a pair of Riedell Blue Ribbon skates. They are durable, and good quality skates that will suit a beginner/intermediate skater for a while. I would suggest also going to your pro shop where you plan to buy and be sized for your skates to see if they have any other good suggestions.
Reply:A good beginner skate is the Riedell Blue Ribbon. It is made for skaters in classes up to the ISI Gamma level.

Another option would be the Jackson Classique. It is also a great skate for working on stroking, crossovers, three turns, mohawks, and lunges.

With these skates, you would not be paying more than $140. Remember, the more money you spend does not necessarily get you the right skate for you. The skate needs to be appropriate to your level and body type.
Reply:If you're a beginner, I'd try Riedells. They have decent boot/blade sets for reasonable prices. Check their website (riedellskates.com) and look at their suggested usage chart to compare it to your level and which of their skates they recommend. Go to a skate shop to get properly fitted though. Skating boots do not always run true to shoe size, so if you're spending that much money on skates, you sure want them to fit. Even if you don't purchase the skates from the shop, at least you know which model and size/width to order. Good luck!
Reply:a good brand for figure skates is ridedell. that is the one i first used...i was in ridedell for about 3 pairs then went to Jacksons.

now i am customs sp terris.

it just really depends what boot feels more comfortable for you.
Reply:get jackson or reidel. Get reidel bronze medal they are only 165 and the baldes are too
Reply:hahaha WALMART lol anyways i got brand new sktaes and they are graf gallaxy extra light edmonton special custom made and the boot was just 720 bucks with the blades they costed like 600- 720 bucks haha true story
Reply:GAM skates came out with a new line of really good beginner skates.

Look into it, I have never personally skated on them, so I suggest you do your own research, but I have read really good reviews.

I suggest talking with a pro shop, or coach, ask what they reccomend. And make sure you get properly fitted.
