How to bake ice skates?

How long should they bake?

At what temperature?

How long should I wait before skating in them?

How long should I keep them on my feet so that they mold?

How to bake ice skates?
Spend the $10 and let your local skate/pro shop do them.

I've seen several pair of melted skates in the past few years. They are fun to look at, but there are no refunds if you cook your skates too long.

Reply:I would go to a sports store to get them molded/baked...

I don't know how long the bake them but i think it only takes like 20Min's to bake and mold..

I think it is free 2.
Reply:I put mine in the oven at 95 degress and and waited about 15 minutes put on a pair of long socks then laced them up. and walked around in them for 15 minutes. you dont need tp cook them at 350 just get them so the boot is warm. you dont have to wait inti lthe next day to skate in them. i warmed mine in the morning and skated that night.
Reply:You need to bake them in a convection oven not a regular one at 350 for 10 minutes. You then keep on your feet for about 20 minutes and just sit with them on. Then walk around in them for about 10 mins. Then wait 24 hours before skating in them.
Reply:Depending on the skates you've got you shouldn't have to do this anymore. The skates made nowadays are designed to sculpt to your foot quickly. Try them out first and if they feel stiff after a few times, maybe then look into baking them.
