A couple of things I've been wondering about--T-blades for goalie skates, and frozen pucks?

So, I've been wondering, do they make T-blades for goalie skates. If not, why?

And, does freezing the puck really make that much of a difference? I've never handled a frozen puck, so I don't really know. I know they say it helps to keep it from bouncing so much, but in NHL games it still seems to bounce quite a bit.

I've never seen T-blades on goalie skates. I have no idea y. the might make them but i've never seen them.

Frozen Pucks make a HUGE difference. With the pucks frozen, they bounce less on the ice and freezing the reduces friction so they'll glide on the ice instead of bouncing and rolling on its side.
Reply:I'm not so sure about the t blades. you can ask someone who works at your local skate shop.

yea, freezing the puck makes a huge difference. it will slide more easily especially if it's rubber or wax.
Reply:I haven't seen t-blades for goalie skates; most likely because of the cowling (the toe protection).

Freezing the puck makes a huge difference; Less bounce but will glide on the ice a lot smoother and faster.
Reply:Frozen pucks will kill your goaltenders. NO SLAPSHOTS IN WARM-UPS, instead warm the pucks up a bit with stick-handling drills and light shooting.
