What's the best skates for ice hockey?
Personally, from my past experiences, Bauers and Reebok's are nice skates. If you want some cheap but good quality skates, try finding the Bauer XI's. I have them now, they cost me $110 to get right before the season. If you want to spend some money on some good quality skates, then go for the Bauer Vapor XXX or the new Supreme 700's. From what I hear, they are awesome skates. A lot of people are also satisfied with the Easton Synergy skates, now the lightest skates, and now mold able. The Reebok 9K pumps are very good in quality and are comfortable, or so I hear. Try different brands and models on inside your price range and see what fits you best, because that is the skate you want to go with, regardless of brand.
Reply:for brand i like bauer, reebok, and ccm. id reccomend reebok 9k pump skate, but i remember at hockey camp i saw some new skates on the market that had like a clear/blue blade thingy (the part that ontop of the blade where its suppose to be white) and uh it had a special thing on the bottom of the foot and ankle so its easier to skate and turn ur foot..sorry but i dont no name of it..right now i have rbk 4k skates and theyre good..
Reply:nike bauer or rbk
Reply:yea CCM Tacks are bender skates. Where do you play hockey? What level? How old are you and how much do you play hockey? I am a 90 and play intense hockey almoste 6 days a week and the Vapor XXX (30's) are working great for me so far, little wear and the blade is strong.
Reply:when looking at skates it is important to find a skate that is most comfortable for you but is also in your price range. I personally recommend Graphs or missions.
