Where can i buy ice skates?

I am looking for a actual shop which sells ice skates in the sstaffordshire/birmingham area so i can try them on beforei buy them.(NOT an online store !) Any ideas would be greatly appreaciated thanks xxxx

go to solihull ice rink in south birmingham at there ice rink and they have a shop for ice skates.
Reply:One of the cheapest and best stocked multi-sport shops going is the Decathlon chain. Don't know if there is one in your area, but check their website www.decathlon.co.uk

Reply:Sometimes the ice - skating venue sells them, However they can be very basic and you could probably get them cheaper at a sports shop. Also try ebay , My cousin got her kids some off ebay and they were good.

Reply:Try a sporting goods store, if they don't have them, maybe they would order them for you, with the understanding that you WILL be able to return if not right size. Growing up in the New England area, we would buy our skates about 1/2 size larger, cuz you would have heavy sox on. Good luck
