Do you sharpen bob skates?

I recently bought bob skates for my 2 year old son - similar to these http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000CE099?smid... although my gut is to have them sharpened, i wonder if it is necessary or can even be done?

No. they are supportive and provide the stability he will need. They are usually made out of aluminum which cannot be sharpened.
Reply:These skates can't be sharpened. Most skates you will sharpen, but these ones you can not.
Reply:Double-bladed skates cannot be sharpened. Regular "one bladed" skate blades are wider than the blades on double-bladed ones. They have edges and a hollow in the middle, so that if you were to look down a blade, it would have a "U" shape to it, so if you look at your little guy's skates, you'll see that they're pretty thin. :)
