Last Night I dream a couple of kids in skates beeing run over by a dark car, what does that means?

First I'm standing in one sidewalk when I see to kids with rollers or skates running down the opposite sideway by the driveway of some house, so a white car merely hit them but they get up quickly. Behind that car is another car (both sedan) but black, the kids again gets down to the street and I saw the car run over them ! then I run to help and almost step over what seems to be the kidds brain... OMG I can't get rid of that gross image... but what does that means? please psycology and parapsycology answer needed. Thanks.

The white sedans seem to represent lesser and greater versions of some danger. Thus, while the kids only get knocked down by the white car, they get run over completely and killed by the dark car.





The cars could also represent your ideas of 'lesser' and 'greater' danger. You think the lesser danger will only knock them down, but that the greater danger will strongly affect them, and yourself.





Kids running on the opposite side of you suggests to me that they are heading in a different direction than you. Thus, it could be that this 'different' direction, in your mind, is synonymous with the dangers you feel that you can't protect them from.





The 'gross image' is basically a worst-case scenario that you feel that you have to deal with, but emotionally are trying to avoid altogether. In other words, you can't help them if they get hurt if you get traumatized by their brains lying all over the place.





BTW, brains could be a metaphor for 'images' and or 'thoughts'. In other words, it's not the kid's brains that are horribly gross and lying all over the place, it's yours. Helping people means that we need to be able to see clearly, without our emotions dragging us into hysterical thoughts and actions. It could be that, as a parent, you have this strong desire to help your kids, but the desire to help is making you think of all these horrible things that could happen, which isn't helping you or your kids out at all.





Your dream is probably telling you that having these horrible ideas isn't helping you or them, so the sooner you approach whatever the situation is rationally, the easier you will sleep at night.

Reply:it sounds like anxiety about your children and their safety. people work through their anxiety in their sleep. it's normal and nothing to stress about ... might want to go to bed earlier tonight ... intense dreams are often a sign of fatigue.
