Can someone tell me the best ice hockey skates brand?
There is no one brand that is better then their counterparts on the market. All the brands offer top quality high-end skates to basement pond hockey bargains.





When selecting skates first determine the price range you can afford, then buy the BEST fitting pair of skates you can find! Comfort and support are key to skates... ill fitting skates no matter the brand will effect your skating.

Reply:There is no "best" there are good grands though. CCM is very good, as are Bauer, Easton, and Graf. Each has a different feel, and you need to try on boots from each to see which boot shape fits you best. I really like CCM skates, so that's waht I use, but there's no "best"
Reply:There is no 'best', there is only what is 'best for you'. Personally, I wear CCM's, but I have wide feet, and they make wider skates. so they feel great.

Reply:It depends on your foot shape. CCM, RBK are often for wider feet, Bauer and Easton fit regular feet, etc...


I've always worn Bauer and moved to Easton my last pair. I could never feel right in CCM as I felt their boot was too forward leaning. It's all personal preference.


Just as important as the boot is the blade. Tuuk, ICM, Razr, etc...


On top of that, having a good fit and feel means nothing if you don't have them contoured and sharpened properly according to your stance, stride, and weight.





Get them fit properly by someone in the business to start.
