Before inline skates!
How did you used to keep your roller skates attached to your shoes?
I can remember roller skates that you slid to fit your shoe.. and you used a key. the top still tied some.
Reply:LOL! I remember when the skates WERE shoes or boots with wooden wheels attached!
Reply:uh, in 1961 there were screw like thingy's that you clamped to your shoes.? LOL, I hadn't thought about that in awhile! I hated them because they always fit so funky.
Reply:We used to wear our leather 'school shoes' with our skates, which upset Mom NO END!!!
